Negotiations
When we met at Starbucks in Union Square earlier this week, it was ostensibly to tie together our scripts and come up with a single version of Sisyphus. It ended up being that and also a representation of negotiated collaboration, each of us bringing a part of our work to the table and figuring out together how to make things work. It helped that Louisa Proske was there. She has a terrific way of seeing things and she is so willing to jump into our crazy, composer-centered mindsets. As you can tell from the above picture, we were all looking at the piece in different ways, trying to make sense of our collaged effort.
