On July 28 2016, EiO presented an evening of choral works curated with composer Jessica Pavone featuring reprises of Pavone’s “When No One Around You Is There” (2013’s Chorus of All Souls), Jason Cady‘s choral opera “Nostalgia Kills,” and Matthew Welch’s “ReAnimator Requiem.” Two new works were also premiered on the program:  “We Are Here For You” by Aaron Siegel and “The Dangerous Life of Fabulous Sarah” by Sasha Zamler-Carhart.  These works, which range from chanting to shamanistic drones contorted the choir into a range of characters and voices.

Conductor David Bloom directed an ensemble of singers from the Ghostlight Chorus including: Caitlin Arias, Diana Hill, Dominique Tille, Kent Twardock, Alex Ulyett, Elena Williamson, Barbara Zay and Matt Zay

Featured artists included Erin Flannery, Tomas Cruz, Emily Manzo and Brian Chase.
